      ***Now Includes O-Ring! The 6 port module is very easy to replace and is designed to be replaced by the homeowner. All Paramount modules are brand new and offer a 1 year warranty. Why does the new module look different than my old one and will it fit in my old water valve housing? Paramount is continuing to update its products and the module has under gone some changes that make it look very different from your old one. You will notice that the brass stem has been removed and that there are now fins on the pistons of the new modules. The increasing use of salt systems to treat pool water is the reason for this change. Salt can attack the brass in the old modules and greatly reduce the life of the module. The new design with all plastic piston shafts, solve this problem. The fins help stabilize the piston when open. This design will not hinder the new modules from fitting into any old style 1 ½ inch valve base or the current style 2 inch bases. A change has also been made to the gear train and an extra gear has been added. This gear is non functional on most modules. On a special two port module used to feed two other water valves (a two port 5 gear), the gear is placed on a different pin and allows the module to rotate at a much slower speed.The Paramount 6 Port Module is for the Paramount Pool Products 6 Port Valve. It is also known as Hydro 6 Module.The Paramount Module 6 Port is for the following systems PCC 2000, Pool Valet, PV3, Cyclean, Vanquish, Paddock PCC 2000, Andrews Advantage PCC2000 and Vantage In-Floor Cleaning Systems. Paramount previously used the part number 4-009-3189 and also 400093189 for their 6 port modules. This is the same unit. All Part Numbers used for this module: 004-302-4408-00, 004302440800, 4-009-3189, 40093189, 4-9-3189 or 400093189, 004-009-3189. As long as you have a Paramount 6 port valve this is the only module that will work. Please contact us if you are unsure.

      1. Paramount Version Not Aftermarket

        Very easy to install and works great. PARAMOUNT version is the only way to go! Purchased an aftermarket version, costed much less but it stopped working in a short period of time plus needed to be pried out.

        The cost is slightly prohibited thusly enticing customers such as myself to seek less expensive alternatives such as on Amazon. Unfortunately albeit the Amazon products are less than half the cost off this product they do not perform as expected. I purchased and returned four of these alternative parts off of Amazon before I was willing to accept the realization that I needed to spend the money and purchase the actual Paramount part. The Paramount part works intended. I am giving it four stars because of the price. on 31st Jan 2024

      9. Review of 6 Port Replacement Module for Paramount Distributor

        This 6 Port Replacement Module 004-302-4408-00 was easy to install (in about 1 minute) and works just great. I've had to replace it about every 10 years, so the price is great considering. There are other replacement modules for sale for less $ but I did no want to take a chance that a knock-off might not fit or work as well. And shipping from AZ Pool Supplies, Inc. was quick.
        Please note that the module comes with an o-ring, so no need to buy one.         on 15th May 2020
